Intro

I do love to read a good blog, as well as write (a good?) blog. I enjoy reading about the life, travels, and experiences of others and it has inspired me to create ‘All Things Sophie’ so I can ramble on about anything and everything from my own life. Maybe one day in the not so distant future I’ll have more than ten followers who pay attention to my thoughts and ideas, and perhaps even feel inspired by the posts I publish! What a feeling that would be.

This is my third blog…I know, how greedy of me. I keep a photography blog where I post the photos I’ve taken and write about them. It’s pretty casual – nothing super geeky or technical. You can check it out at photosfromsophie.blogspot.com
I’d like to keep that as a photography blog and keep this as a more personal, girly, lifestyle, focused blog. I also have a Tumblr where I post my photos in hopes of getting 240934538964 notes. I actually posted a photo of my cat once and it received over 100 notes. I think it’s safe to say she’s internet-famous.

I have decided to go with WordPress this time as I’ve heard some great things about it. So far I like how easy it is to use, and how I was able to set up a domain name without any fuss which I couldn’t do on Blogger. I am a tad disappointed in the lack of fancy themes and how you’re very limited on how you much you can customise your blog for free. On blogger there are a lot of interesting, colourful themes you can chose for free. Well now I get the best of both worlds!

I’m looking forward to finally having a personal blog where I can waffle on (I love that word) about the things I love. So you can expect to see a lot of cute cat posts…
