Bonfire Night

I hope everyone has had an awesome weekend celebrating the wonderful tradition that is Bonfire Night!

One of the many things I love about being British is some of the interesting traditions we have. Many years ago a fella named Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament and now every year on the fifth of November we remember this by having a bonfire, setting off fireworks, and waving sparklers around. Us Brits are quite weird. But also quite cool.

This year I celebrated by watching the fireworks in Guildford. It was wet and muddy and I ruined my shoes, but the fireworks were fantastic! I got some photos with my fancy camera, which I was very brave to be using in the rain.

Enjoy!
